Return & Refund Policy

At Lit & Co, we want you to love your purchase. If you're not completely satisfied, we're here to help.

Returns

You may request a return within 7 days of receiving your order for a refund or exchange. To be eligible for a return, the item must:
- Be unused and in its original condition
- Be in its original packaging
- Not be damaged, altered, or missing parts
- Include proof of purchase (order number or receipt)

To start a return, contact us at litcoofcl@gmail.com with your order number and reason for the return, and we'll provide return instructions including the return address. We will confirm approval or rejection within 3–5 business days of receiving the item.

Exchanges

If you'd like to exchange an item instead of a refund, let us know when you contact us — we'll confirm availability and next steps directly with you.

Non-Returnable Items

The following items cannot be returned:
- Items marked "Final Sale" at time of purchase
- Gift cards
- Personalized or custom-made products
- Items damaged through misuse after delivery

Refunds

Once we receive and inspect your returned item, we will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. Items returned without original packaging or with signs of use may be eligible for a partial refund only.

If approved, your refund will be processed to your original payment method within 5–10 business days.

Damaged or Incorrect Items

If your order arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, please contact us within 7 days of delivery and provide clear photos of the issue. We will work quickly to provide a replacement or refund where appropriate.

Return Shipping

Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the item received was damaged, defective, or incorrect. Contact us for details on shipping costs and, for international orders, customs or duty fees.

Governing Law

This policy is governed by the laws of South Africa, including the Consumer Protection Act.
